"AJC Cares" is our employee community outreach organization in Atlanta. Our employees contribute personal time, financial donations and energy in supporting the following organizations and their community service campaigns. Every year the AJC Group contributes a percentage of our annual profits to AJC Cares to support the global organizations we serve.

Feed the Children
AJC has a long history of growth and success in the food and logistics industries. We work every day to deliver on our five core values, perform with integrity, build relationships, embrace teamwork, deliver innovation and provide service.
For more than 30 years, AJC has not only been providing service to our customers, we have been providing service to people in need by supporting charities, like the Red Cross, Susan B Komen, and the Children's Restoration Network foundation. Over the years, we have raised millions of dollars, and provided thousands of service hours for these charities.
We are excited to announce that AJC Cares is in a growth mode, just like the AJC Group, and after an exhaustive process, we have chosen a global partner to expand our platform for giving back and paying it forward. We will be a global partner of Feed the Children. We chose Feed the Children because of their mission, their global footprint, and their effectiveness; they are a Better Business Bureau accredited charity and have the Platinum Seal of Transparency.
Some of Feed the Children's other global partners are PepsiCo, Tyson and Starbucks, just to name a few. We will be consistently rolling out a variety of tools to make it easy for our team, our vendors, our customers and our suppliers to help children around the world. I want to extend our thanks to the AJC Cares Board and committee members for their dedication to helping AJC Cares reach this milestone. Children's Restoration Network
Feeding the children through Children's Restoration Network, this is a service organization that supports 143 different shelter homes, has been part of AJC Cares commitment for over 5 years. We have partnered with several of our vendors and now supply frozen proteins year round so these children will be provided with nourishment. We also supply toys, school backpacks, Easter eggs as well as volunteers for various activities throughout the year. The estimated number of children we help feed is 6,000 in Atlanta and surrounding counties. Last year with the help of our vendors we supplied over 80,000 pounds of proteins.

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Children's Hospital
"AJC Cares" sponsors a Family Craft night each month where the sick hospitalized children and their families enjoy making fun items like pillows, picture frames, and hats as well as many other creative items. The family can forget for an hour that their child is ill and enjoy family time together filled with wonderful smiles as the children play and enjoy crafts.

Susan G. Komen 3-Day Cancer Walk for the Cure
Each year we have had AJC employees walk the 60 miles to help support finding the cure for cancer. We have several money-making activities throughout the year with AJC Corporation matching the employee donations.

Our employees and the community in which we live are very important to us. We do many other activities to support our employees and their faith and beliefs in giving back to the world in which we live.
